Scuttlebutter desreves a kicking..

A very sick person i hope it doesnt happen to them or there family /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I just can't believe that anybody could find any sort of enjoyment out of something like this. It does not do any favours to the great majority of saily boat owners who I'm sure will comment accordingly.

Don't think you need to, he seems to be getting a good e-kicking where he is.

And quite right too.

And long may it continue.....!!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Likewise - I was going to ignore, but couldn't. Upset as many raggies as moboers, judging by the ekicking going on...

It's OK lads, from the same website he got that pic from, there's another showing a yacht sunk after getting caught up in the same fire (Barcelona) so it's not just mobo owners who suffered. We're not gloating about that though....

I`m not normally in favour of posts being pulled but in this case I would feel the Moderator would be quite justified in removing the highly offensive opinion of this sick twisted individual.

It just looked like an error of judgement to me. Yes it's sad to see boats in flames & not a little frightening (you can't help thinking it could be me) but some of the personal comments are getting out of hand. Why can't people on fora show a little restraint? Slagging him off just shows the poster to be as daft as the original poster.

Violence begets violence, whether it is physical or verbal, it's all counter-productive. Let's all try getting on with each other for a change, hey?

Excellent point

That post was so obviously stupid that I wonder why so many people bothered to underline it.
Fastly disappearing below the first page with no reply, that's the most proper treatment it deserved.

Agree what a Sad strange person to post something like that. We've been through the frightening and stressful experience of rescuing a crew off a burning cruiser on the Atlantic coast in a mild swell and it still gives me the "hee bee gee bees" when I think about it. Tg the crew were saved but the boat sank. I'm sure 99% of sailors and mobors do not share this persons unfortunate sense of humour.

I believe it's as Andy Warhol said, everybody wants their fifteen minutes of fame or should that be infamy?

and Keen Ed's had his this afternoon,

wrong move Keen Ed.

but I'm sure you'll see sense when you're sober, and post an apology.
