Yesterday I braved the frozen lands of the North to visit my gorgeous daughter, and whilst putting the world to rights, she mentioned that she would be attending the next meet in Cumbraes Watersports Centre and would like to run a raffle.
So if anybody has anything that they don't want and feel would make a worthy raffle prize please let me know either by pm or posting here and we'll make it happen.

I'll contribute a bottle of malt to the raffle.
If I don't make the meet it will be on board Ladybird until the winner claims it! It'll be tough, but I shall resist the temptation to broach the bottle.

May I propose the British Heart Foundation as one of the beneficiaries?

British Heart Foundation is OK by me - we'll see how much we make with the quiz and a raffle(although we are still a bit light on prizes!) and possibly support a couple of charities.

If you leave it in the Marina Office I can collect & deliver as I’m over in the Vale of Leven next month.
Plus I should have a few new boaty-bits for prizes. :)

Thanks very much to the pair of you.
I'll probably find something to add in so it looks like we will be having a quiz and a raffle.
Anybody else got anything that they don't want?

1) Either - hopefully something somebody might like.
2) Not decided as yet - probably Cancer Research or RNLI - but open to suggestions.

In light of the recent publicity about all the children around the world dying of malnutrician, aka 6 million a year, how about making the donation to "Save a Child"?

It’s Time For A Rummage In Yer Drawers (aka Sea Chest.)

Time is getting on & it’s nearly “Lift-In” which precedes the initial Clyde Scuttlebutt Cruise, Cumbrae Quiz & Charity Raffle. :)

So!.... Shipmates, Rum Bosons and Defaulters (that’ll be me then), we need to have a “good rummage” for a (yet to be decided?) good cause(s).

I’m meeting ooor Pete C this Thursday to start the collection.

Looking forward to seeing you all for a “cracking good do” at the CWC .

OG. :)
