It's about time I gave the bottom and outdrives a good scrub off and changed the anodes.

I have a decent pressure washer which [I think] will run off a genny, however I don't think it'll run off a gravity fed bin so really I need to find somewhere with a nearby water tap to feed it.

The boat will dry out and I have a pair of drying legs that came with it that I'd like to have a practise with.

So does any one know anywhere suitable for my purposes in the Solent [ I am moored in Hamble]

Hardway Sailing Club have scrubbing grids with piles. IIRC as a non-member, you'll pay a tenner a tide.

You'll need to book unless you can do it midweek, and use the grids on the N side of the pontoon. S side are pretty manky

yup but a long way from a tap. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif unless it's just beer you want on tap and it's ideal /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Right next door to Hardway Sailing Club is Hardway Marine Chandlers, he has a scrubbing pad with piles and he will rent you a petrol powered pressure washer, not sure of costs but pretty reasonable
