Screen wash

Tap water with washing up liquid goes very smeary with sea water spray. Is car screen wash any better? What do you recommend?

Don't add anything just clean water, however a better solution is RainX just rub it into the screen and you will find the water just beads off it's used a lot for motorcycle visors, it's great as you don't have to use the wipers at all

I buy car screen-wash in bulk and use it in the car and boat, I now put some Salt Away in too, I suspect that just the Salt Away would do it.

Try CFC Farnell, very inexpensive for the concentrated stuff & free delivery too

+2, great product when applied correctly and frequently.

Just check helmet visor manufacturer before using though, some advise against this.
