Has any one come across a Zendar screen-tronic ?
it was on the end of the Sony (radio/cassette ) aerial on a so35
can only assume its to screen from other electrical instruments in same area. The aerial wire was hanked up and fastened with cable tie with this gizmo fastened to bulkhead. Reception was that bad swimbo couldn’t listen to Rado4..Intention is to uncoil the wire and lay it behind the bunks. So any harm in cutting then rejoining said piece of kit.
Any help gratefully received

A VHF (FM radio) ariel is usually just a piece of wire, so cutting and rejoining will do now harm at all.
Google is quite amazing, see here . It looks like an in-line filter, all you need is someone who speaks czekoslovak to tell you what it a "nalepovaci" is!!
