screen prob

Before you replace everything, jiggle the connection into the back of your PC and make sure screws are tight.

If that doesn't work, pull out plug and make sure none of the pins are bent.

If that doesn't work, replace entire PC and screen. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

screen 5 yrs

[/ QUOTE ]Possibly, but try another screen if you can or try the monitor controls - I had a similar problem when the kids played with the monitor settings and managed to push the picture too far one way resulting in a reflection of the tube wall giving a vertical lightish line on the screen.

I have a Novatech lap top under two years old. The screen has gone blank and Novatech want £309 + the usual to repair it! Meanwhile I've bought a new all bells & whistles Dell but am umming & ahring as whether to have the Novatech repaired for SWIMBO, or use it in the orafice with a seperate monitor.
What does the panel think?
