Went to dinner last night at a neighbours, someone who is staying there had found an old rowboat in the grounds and had a play with it. Things got talked about and insurance came up, she said "I wouldn't need it with an old row boat" I said "what if you scratched a brand new Broom 42" she said "well an old rowboat wouldn't hurt it and as I am rowing they should have got out of my way" at that point I gave up.

Re: Are you giving us a clue on your new boat

I might, if my arm were twisted confess to a new Princess 65 but if I did I would have to kill everyone in the Forum, so I won't, in fact to save all your lives I will not even order it.
No chance of me ordering another boat Simon, 55 years of owning boats is enough for any man. I now enjoy hearing others bleat about bills, worrying about the price of fuel, whether they are going to take the 'red' concession away, anodes, anti-foul, wind over tide, jetbikes and Wally newcomers who think they're Master Mariners after one season afloat.

Talking of a Princess 65, saw two beautiful 25 and 23 m down at Cowes this year, very nice, then spotted a Small one as I described it to swmbo, took up bionics, just a S41 /forums/images/icons/blush.gif but it did look small honest !
