Scrap Yard probs in Oyster Reach

last week we experienced heavy noise & air pollution ( rust dust cloud )from the newly established scrap yard within the ABP west bank terminal opperated by Dunn Bros ( Ex Brightlingsea Hbr).
Fox's Marina & Oyster Marine & berth holders have taken action by reporting to
the Babergh D.C
Ipswich Borough Council
The R.S.P.B on water pollution affecting wild life
The Environmental Agency
if you are local or your are affected in any way pls report to all of the above with copies to Foxs Marina MD.

Very sorry to hear that.

Would be very interested to know how Brightlingsea managed to get theirs shifted and what this company is like to deal with.

I think I'm right in saying that a number of people at Brightlingsea managed to get compensation out of the wharf operators when their boats were damaged (covered in rust flecks) by air pollution from the scrap metal business.

It took years to get them out of brightlingsea , the dust was a pain the noise was worse.
