This is just to let you all know that I've started a new blog, as above.
This one will carry all the materials I've collected over the years that seem worth sharing and I hope there will be something of interest to most.
I've started with some historical stuff, but there will be articles about sailing on the West coast of Scotland and the Baltic (I've not tried other locations), boat design and building and particular issues that seem topical.
Meantime my other blog, scottishislandsclass.blogspot.com, is getting quite a few hits and I've been promised further historical material from a number of sources. There are about thirty posts there to date.
