This may seem a strange place to post this but these are heavy and need to be collected from Wivenhoe in the next week.

I have a box of Scottish pilot books, (Clyde Cruising club, Cruising association, tidal streams atlas etc etc) charts and so forth which belonged to my father before he sold up in 1992 and stopped sailing on the West Coast.

Some of them have his corrections and annotations in them but if anyone's planning a trip up there these these would be useful for pre-planning (I don't think the rocks move much!)

I can't bring myself to throw them out so I'd like these to go to a good home, in return for a donation to the RNLI - at whatever level the recipient feels appropriate.

If you have any of the old hardback CCC books there, they can be particularly useful as they show lots of small anchorages ("Stores: none. Water: at burn.") which later additions have missed out and which, if I read things right, might well be to the taste of visiting East Coast mudhoppers. I use a 1952 edition myself.
