Just a reminder for those of you in the north of England/ Scotland that there are 3 Scottish Events

Scottish Boat Show 12- 14th of October

Honwaves will be on the water so you can try them out. Also ribs, sailing boats, us etc. Oh and the top gear road show!

Boat Jumble 7th October

Sunday 7 October 2012. Scottish Boat Jumble. Open 10:00. St Mirren Football Club, Greenhill Road, PAISLEY PA3 1RU, Junction 29 of the M8,. Accompanied children and car park free.

I could with sea fishing from my yacht tips. I have used advice from here with some success, actually very little success. So I will pop over to the Glasgow Angling Centre.

Funny name that - conjures up an image of a weegie in training to be a wide boy.

Dont think for a minute that by going to the GAC event will make you a more successful angler, but it will make you lighter.
I know from years of been hooked on hooks!
Although I have had some success while fishing rivers for salmon.
An 18 pounder sea liced springer from the river Tummel at Pitlochry.

Just remember if you buy a boat from the second hand boat show at kip to check the keel doesn't wobble first..

Otherwise you will be left with a very long winter of rebuild work.

Time to remove all nickable items off the boat and get the "boat watch" boys in again 'til after the "liberated" boaty bits sale is over. :rolleyes:
