When the medium and high season is in full swing in the Mediteranean have a look at any adjacent boats with Scots on board directing your gaze to their bare feet .
You may find that they are adapting to climate change by developing webbed feet .
This was illustrated recently by their success in the Swimming events during the commonwealth Games
It also explains the hairy legs of Scotsmen similar to highland cattle which were specifically adapted in the open to wet weather over the thousands of years since the last ice age and also to the extinct mammoth which although adapted for rain could not cope with the ice age , man being a fairly recent incomer from the Middle East and the Mediterranean. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
