SCOD keel bolts

Does anyone out there know how the keelbolts are attached to the keel of a SCOD.
I know there is a SCOD association website but there is no contact information other than postal addresses and in this eletronic era I resist writing letters.
I believe they go through the keel with tapers at the bottom. Any info would be most welcom as an inspection is long overdue.

Since nobody has answered, I've just spent a couple of minutes looking at some old Classic Boat mags in the cupboard. In Feb 97, there was an article about a guy buying one and the article tells the story of the survey. The bit about the keel bolts says

"Keelbolts should be checked periodically for corrosion, but again we couldn't gain access without removing the cabin sole and water tank. However, invoices showed the yard had drawn two keelbolts a couple of years previously and finding them to be in good condition had rebedded them in pitch."

From which we can conclude that that particular boat had bolts and not studs. The line drawing accompanying the article doesn't show the keel bolts. However it refers to an article in Classic Boat No 27 (Sept 70) which by chance I have. That shows the keel bolts in the line drawing with what looks like tapers. The text says

"The seven 1 1/8 (29mm) galvanised iron keel bolts are not difficult to replace when the watertank has been lifted out but they have special countersunk heads which should be forged, rather than made from nuts screwed to bar (like TG's).

Both articles refer to problems with the galvanised floors reacting with the oak frames.

Do a search on keel bolts here if you wish. There have been a number of posts on the subject, mine included.
