I have just bought a Scimitar in need of some attention.
I am looking for some basic information about the dimensions to enable me to get it lifted out of the water and the mast unstepped.
I also need to buy a genoa for the furling forestay as this is missing.
The Laurent Giles archive is currently unavailable due to the recent death of the proprietor, they told me that it may be some months before they have decided how they may wish to proceed with it.
What is the height of the mast and how is it best to unstep it from the boat. Is this advisable to do manually or is a crane necessary?
What is the luff length of the furling jib?
