Scimitar - 12 Metre?

Does anyone know the owner of a large white yacht with a gold mast called Scimitar, probably an old 12 metre, sail number K17? We were to exchange addresses/photographs in Castlebay, Barra but missed each other. An email address would be wonderful.

The yacht you are talking about is Sceptre - she is indeed a 12 metre built 1958. If you look on the British Classic yacht Club website (www.britishclassicyachtclub.org) under Charter you will get a telephone number for the Sceptre Preservation Society.
