I have been to Holland via Belgium (usually Zebrugge) many times , but have not been for 4 years or so.
The Schengen Forms on the RYA website do not appear to have changed since I last went. What is the current experience of Forumites. Are the forms OK to use still. The interest in the Schengen Forms was I always felt minimal.
I always had a duplicate signed but never had them inspected anyway.

We usually carry Belgian Schengen forms as that's normally our first port of call. It's normally quite difficult to offload them - the Mercator guys certainly didn't want to know last year and I seem to remember the old box on the RNSYC gate had gone last time we were in.

When we were boarded by the immigration patrol a couple of years back they didn't worry that we hadn't handed a form in - they just filled one out for us there and then - and it was the same old form that's been on the RYA site for years.

I handed ours into KYCN Nieuwport last year. The havenmeester duly stamped and photocopied them and handed a copy back me. All very official, but I suspect it all went in the bin as soon as I left ☺.

We had copies of the Dutch ones that we picked up last year, but the ones handed out in IJMuiden this year were different - a bit more info required. We just filled in the new one and posted it into the box, as usual . When we have been stopped the Dutch and German police/customs seem so surprised that you have bothered that the wrong forms are of no concern. However, they do tend to radio or phone Vlissingen to check that the forms have indeed been filed as we claim.
