Hi All,

Out of the various companies I guess we all know about that sell Volvo service spares........

Has anyone recently done any comparisons as to who is offering the best deals?

I'm after oils filters and belts for my pair of ad31's?

Thanks,
Rob.

Keyparts for the oil filters, for the belts I crossed the part numbers over to Gates who I consider make the best belts, their catologue is available online. As already mentioned for ease just order the set from Keypart.

Me to would be interested in that!

BushBaby has two AD31s very economical, using about 30L per hour at 25 kts 3000RPM.

I got belts from commercial motos, the peeps who service our trucks at work - the VP ones would keep breaking byt these are 1mm thicker and, so far, have lasted longer.

Volspec are very good but probably not the cheapest - maybe try advance marine at Portishead - tell them Iain on BushBaby sent you!

Am over in Swansea next week on the boat if you wanna save the postage

Trickett probably do the best range of "pattern" volvo parts at very reasonable prices. I suspect some of these are made by the same people who make the volvo badged ones. They have a great website for cross referencing parts. No connection - just a happy customer.

Your local motor factor/any motor factor(normally hidden away on some trading estate or other) will beat hands down your local round the corner spares shop or chandlery.
Last lot of oil for my engines cost £50 fo 25L of diesel mineral fleet, oil filters around £8.00 each and primary diesel filters inserts £3.00 each all known brand stuff.
