It certainly was, we had a couple of sleepless nights moored out in the river. Checked the forcast Sunday morning, thought bigger that and came home.
Watched a couple of kite boarders lapping it, that did look fun.

What is the current situation on the entrance to the Deben as I plan on entering to pick up a mooring next Friday or Saturday. I'm aware of the advice on John White's website and plan on calling him beforehand but wondered if anyone had experience of traversing the channel this weekend.
