Re: Sat 23 & Sun 24 June

Sorry, we'll be at a Christening up north. But Vreny will probably still be tucked up in the marina as some kind person bashed her while she was on her mooring and knocked the stemhead off (along with a 6" section of the deck!).. So much for our long weekend away on her this weekend (the only one of the season other than pirate weekend because of saving holiday for the wedding). Luckily we are jumping on Solene instead and Anne has kindly agreed to a nightsail so we'll be setting off shortly after midnight tomorrow.

I'll be doing the Round the Island race on a J80 should be fun, but wet! on the 23rd June. But Anne and I will probably be in Burnham the following weekend.
We are off to Ipswich and the Deben this weekend leaving around midnight tonight as we have the still employed Karen and Patrick with us, due to Vreny's bloody nose!

Hi guys

We were thinking of Sat evening in BYH would be good to put faces to names if anyone will be around. Which watering hole do you guys frequent when in Burnham?

I am coming down to the boat for the weekend.
I will have a couple of novice sailors with me.
Depending on the weather we may head towards Burnham.
Will see how things shape up.

Early start Saturday to get over the Deben bar.
Could be around Burnham about 4 p.m.

Change of plan.
Crew can not come due to broken tooth /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Not sure what I am doing now.
Looking for replacement crew but no takers so far.
Looks like a wet weekend so may stay at home and bank some brownie points.

Pass on best wishes to the toothless one Clive , sometimes brownie points are worth obtaining though , just think what pleasures you could trade in for

Got home and explained the situation.
Was told "Never mind. Why don't you go down anyway and enjoy yourself?"

So I have come down to the boat.
Another mate is joining me tomorrow afternoon.
May head for Stone point or there abouts tomorrow evening.

It's alright for some Clive , I was supposed to be going to Maldon area and Kent over the weekend , but the boats I want to look into buying are only viewable on weekdays , and with more rain forecast here , work on my babies is at a standstill
