Hello from Ostend.

We made it! - 15 hours on the dot. Everything from goosewinging with the chute to hard on it.The last 35 miles were covered in 5.5 hours - 4s and 5s on the beam with a metre cross sea - it was a fast and furious ride /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Got the cruising chute up at 4.45am /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Dropped it at 0800 in 18knots of wind and in doing so the snapshackle on the strop fell apart /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

There is a race crowd - we are rafted 5 deep /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif hopefully some will race off tomorrow.

Have a good trip tomorrow everyone

seriously.....anyone there when i arrive to help with mooring up will be appreciated.....I fully intend to use the bow line that you guys use......which makes access to the bathing platform soooooo much easier... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well done Roger & John, sounds like you exceeded your allowances, but had a balanced sheet.

All profit and no loss, except for the £1500 shackle /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Lets hope you have a decent carry forward for the journey home.
