Merry Christmas, all guys,

Santa was coming last night and said "you are nice so I am giving you a BIG one."

This morning, I signed and called the sales and said "take the contract back before Santa changs his mind or finds
something on my record."

Very appreciate to those who assisted me in the past few months, with all your inputs I can make good decision.
Now I am trying to forget about this contract until receiving the phone call from the dealer.

Opps, I forgot to ask Santa when would I receive the BIG one.

Merry Christmas !!!

Hi Peter.

Firstly, merry Christmas. Welcome to the world of wet monetpits. I have been out of it for a while, but just one metre from the bottom of my garden sits an empty 11metre pontoon. In about 3 months after a house sale is completed, I will have a small boat tied to it, and will also be living to regret the decision financially, but will be loving building the memories with my beautiful other half.

I wish you the very best of luck and small outlays on your new Christmas present going forward.

Hi zt260,
Are you saying my English needs to be corrected/improved? If so, please feel free to correct me, I need English tutors.

Or, there is a kind sense of humor that I don't catch?

Happy Holidays !!!

Your English is much better than my Hokkien or Mandarin.
The problem is that some English people think that it's funny to take an innocent statement and "transplant" it into a less innocent context.
Me, for example ...;):p

Congratulations on the boat purchase, I am sure you won't regret it.

Thanks zt260,
Language could be ambiguous. Our Mandarin and Taiwanese are quite ambiguous, too.
For example, "Buying a boat is a no brainer." ---- is this positive or negative?
My wife says it is a positive because if you buy a boat you have no brain
