Sand blasting - what\'s the cost?

I am fed up with it. This time I may go for sand blasting and three coats of epoxy. I tried underwater primer, but the damned stuff won'T stay on more than one year. Two years ago I took the hull back to gleaming steel, then SIX coats of primer, then antifoul. Why?
Now I am going hardcore. What's the damage folks? The boat is 27 feet, with a beam of 8 feet.

Been there done it!
Not sure what sort of boat you have.
My last boat a 27' x 8' RLM motorcruiser I paid about £350 LS here on North east coast, took all day.
Note: from experiance do not mix all the epoxy at once! only mix enough epoxy for about 15min otherwise it will start to go off.
Also make sure you but differant colour gel coats, I found International went on easier than Blakes.
Never regreted it, hull looked as good as new after.

Epoxy setting in 15 minutes???? Something wrong there. I applied 6 coats of epoxy to the sandblasted keel and bottom of Cariad, the pot life, even at 35 degrees outside air temp was well in excess of 4 hours.

My friend, i don't think you should be sandblasting and epoxying the hull of your boat at all - it's a bloody glider. It won't need antifoul either.

Sheesh, some people.
