Saltys - Yarmouth

Had a few days in Yarmouth after Easter and one evening after a look at the usual pub menus, which I personally think have gone downhill over the years, we decided to try Saltys. The food, which majors heavily on fresh fish is very good. There is a bar downstaairs and a restaurant upstairs. We ate at the bar and I'd heartily recommend the fish pie.

Salty's is always good in my experience. Salty himself is a bit of a character who actually used to, or maybe still ,runs a fishing boat. Er... hence the good fish /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's a bit rowdy in the summer, particularly at weekends when there are a lot of kids in. Grub's very good though

Yes, he runs a boat. It was quiet when I was there and he came in near the end, had a chat with us and bought us a large glass of wine each.

Yeah - SWMBO and I were in there out of season. Just him and us. He insisted on buying drinks what could we do?

He's a really nice guy, which is unusual these days in the tourist industry...
