Saltash regatta this weekend.

Hi all, as a sailing novice and seriously feeding my distant retirement dreams, I will be popping down to the regatta in Saltash (Plymouth) this weekend. It should give me a chance to make sense of all the terminology used on this excellent site. If you are there and you see a 40 something year old mentally following lines from the cabin all along the boat with an outstretched finger, it is probably me, so be kind
