You did not. But even if you had, I hope you would not object to my basking in your reflected glory, and imitation, so they say, is the sincerest form of flattery.
With the Howells style of fiddles, no exposed edge of plywood can be seen (as a closer examination of the link to their webpage will show). Whereas your table, despite being estimable in every other way, does show several inches of that particularly unnattractive feature.
Sorry i though i said something along the lines of not joining all four sections of the fiddle, but fitting separate pieces on the four sides, not meeting in the corners so that crumbs etc can easily swept off.
Must be getting forgetful!
Cant really see the detail in the Howells table in the tiddly little pictures in your link. I expect they are solid teak.
Mine is just a spare bit of ply left over from another job round the house plus a few other scraps. Stows away when not in use, has two alternative mounting positions in the cabin and can be used as a cockpit table too.
