Any ideas who can supply blue LED lighting for saloon deckhead please?IMG_3924.JPGIMG_3925.JPGIMG_3926.JPG Stainless like photo. Ones we have are Quick lighting. Thanks.

There must be a reasons for this question that i don't follow ... as surely the answer is .... Quick?!

If you don't want exact copies ( which maybe the question I am not sure) then Coastal Rides have a variety at discount prices ( end of line)

Yes sorry about that not too clear. The lights we have are soft white but still quite intense. Looking for a blue light to try. I suffer with optical migranes occasionally and feel a blue light may be better. At least worth a try. Cannot locate any Quick ones in UK so thought someone may have used an alternative.

Quick lights can be dimmed , with a quick dimmer module.
Do you have cold or warm white? Warm white is a really soft light in that model from quick. I think that model is called Kay. We have that all over our boat ( in warm white)

Quick and cantalupi do that size. Cantalupi = much better quality and more expensive, and higher CRI, which is why Quick tend to be Oem. Cantalupi are sold in U.K. by IMP

I'd expect blue to look pretty bad. You could fit dimmers. Or leave the ceiling lights alone and fit Rgbw edge/pelmet lighting for a very soft and colour mixable result.

Its warm light. No problems with lights its just me that is the problem. I am only one finding them to intense at times.

Thanks for that advice. I will have a look at IMP site. Take your point on all blue lighting but only looking for one light when I get the occasional migrane attack. The red light over helm position is fine but sends out wrong signal.:)

I can "borrow" you a dimmer module for testing if you like,
we have them here in stock because we use these frequently in my business.

Bart, what dimmer modules are they please and what to the cost?

Fairline use bespoke stuff ( but not in my boat) from Energy Solutions but they have stopped making most of it now so i am looking for an alternative.

the dimmers are from Quick marine,
I'm not sure if they work on other lights than Quick,

there are two models,
Quick LDIM bus 2ch is 304euro Retail ex Vat
Quick LDIM bus 4ch is 392euro Retail ex Vat

Thank you kindly for offer. I will try the blue lighting first and get back to you if it is no better.

Quelle surprise!

I spoke to Enegy Solutions as there was a load of their stuff on Coastal Rides but they said it waned of life and nor really supportable any more!
As well as some good stuff, ES produced quite a lot of carp to be honest, interior lighting being one of their particularly bad product lines. Their very expensive RGB lighting controllers were awful, for example, and you can find better online if you know how to sort wheat from chaff. I had ES lighting gear on first Sq78 but heavily avoided it on current boat
