Hi all. I am sure you have seen many topics about people "wanting to...", "seriously considering..." etc so please excuse the similar nature here. Anyway, I am trying to make my way back into the marine world and the sales side has sharply caught my attention. I am well aware it is a difficult industry and I am basically just seeking some advice from anyone who has made it in, or at least attempted, boat/yacht sales. I have quite a bit of experience and currently hold a 200 ton N/C license. I see Yacht Brokerage Institute has been recommended according to some prominent brokers and offers an introductory course for a decent price.

It is a very difficult industry, but most people start here followed by 2-3 years on the job training and other courses then applying for various membership upgrades. ABYA | News | ABYA Yacht Brokerage Course
