Here is an interesting article by a dyed in the wool sailor about motor boats for (retired?) sailors - don't worry, it is not bashing, far from it! There is a (surprising?) conclusion......

And here is a follow up - here we find other folk cottoning on to the Dashew's Wind Horse concept :

The Artnautica 58 could perhaps give the smallest Dashew FPB a good run for her money (?)
But not everybody has Wind Horse sized wallets, so John follows up with this article about smaller trawler type boats for retired sailing geezers :

A neat concept, although the styling could perhaps be improved - it would be interesting to see what SunPrinFair would come up with if they started with something like this for a basic SOR.
