Hello,
I'm looking to leave UK for the Summertime. I'm very interested in sailing from UK to Mediterranean/Canaries etc. but I'm very happy to consider any other destinations.
I do have a valid passport and basic sailing gear. I'm available almost immediately. My original plan was to leave London around the end of the month.
I'm 26 yrs old male, Polish, and have been sailing since I was a kid going inshore-cruising holidays with my parents every summer in Poland (Mazury lakeland). Used to run holidays like this for friends as the skipper. Within last few years I've had few opportunities to sail on Baltic sea around Polish and Swedish coasts.
I hold a polish Inland Skipper certificate which is comparable equivalent of Day Skipper in UK. With all my respects to sea and ocean I could still risk a statement that I'm experienced enough to be a useful and reliable crew member straight away. I do know the 'Rules of the Road' and currently refreshing them in English as my sailing knowledge is based on experiences from sailing with Polish sailors. I think it's also worth mentioning that I'm not afraid of cooking, I'm a handyman with some experience in boatbuilding and repairs and used to run a sailing shop in Poland and work in one in London too. I'm very eager to learn new things and gain sailing experience.
By now you should have also probably noticed that I have no problems to communicate in English
Regards,
Radek
