Does anyone have any recs for somewhere to service my sails before next season. I have two well used headsails and a 12 month old main that could do with sprucing up...

The boat's at Shotley, and I live in Cambridge. Ideally somewhere I can fairly easily drop them off (rather than shipping) would be great.

Parker & Kay do valet, and you can leave at lock office for collection/return.

drop them off in Foxs Chandlery for collection by Dolphin or Gowen

W Sails in leigh On sea come recommended hereabouts.

Must admit I usually heave mine over to Wilkinson Sails in Burnham, but I have known Mick a long time, and he happens to be local too.

Can't say that I've experienced that. Have had very good service inc some emergency repairs while I waited on the RHYC hammerhead. I guess you get what you pay for and we all have our own levels as to what we feel is acceptable or not.

Jeckells are using NovoSail this year see http://www.jeckells.co.uk/winter-service/ much gentler on the sail than laying out on a barn floor and pressure washing which is what I have heard of another sailmaker doing.

Not sure if expensive or not but quoted approx £120 for a Main collected from Ipswich area and using full Novo treatment which coats sail after to prevent mildew.
