Dear Sirs,

I'm completing Thesis for Doctor’s Degree
"Sailing Craft Dynamics and Control".
It includes mathematical model for yacht's non-stationary dynamics and results a computer program that simulates sailboat's manoeuvring. Number of experiments conducted and hydro- and aerodynamic properties studied.

This work is essential, for example, for match racing boats design.

1. What we need now is real sailing yacht trajectory measurements, for example, when tacking, accelerating, easing off, etc. This can be done by GPS.

2. We already publish a number of articles, but all in Russian. We want to publish scientific article(s) about this work in English.

Who can help?
Thanks!

Best regards,

No problems mate!! IMHO trajectory measurements when tacking are jhbnk vfgho mjkli gfdb m,.kkhb xdsc'''''@@ gffdjhgj. x the square root of the deco factor . this is fine 'till wind over tide when nhfvchjk jds has to be added. similar calcs can be done for accelerating and easing off. Sorry if this dont make too much sense but science aint me best subject .

Seriously tho' as Pepermint has already posted you would be better off approaching southhampton university , I'm sure they will be of assistance.

I wish you all the best in your quest .
