Last February I asked for comments about sailing after having a pacemaker fitted, as I was due to have the procedure. I was grateful to the many who replied and said I would report back at the end of the season, so this is it. Mrs. Mick and I have just returned from our travels and I can report that I have never had a better season. I have had no problems as a result of being slightly bionic. I had been having fainting spells and the pacemaker has sorted the problem completely. Mrs. Mick was understandably concerned about her crew fainting over the side in a blow but if that happens now it will be as a result of stupidity rather than lightheadedness. Thanks again to all who helped to reassure me.
