WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================

Issued: 1400 hrs, Friday 27th April 2018

SATURDAY
---------------
A cool northeast flow through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. A weakening front over East Anglia and the Midlands only slowly fading during the day.
Plenty of cloud and some spots of rain and drizzle in the morning in much of England and Wales. The cloud breaks here and there to give a few brighter spells. This then triggers some heavy and thundery showers, probably across central and southern England as well as Wales. Perhaps better in southwest England.
Heavy showers forming in Scotland with a few in Ireland too. Bright or sunny spells between the showers. Mostly dry in much of northern England and Ireland.
Winds NE 15-20kt (F4-F5) but 20-25kt (F5 occ F6) at times on eastern coasts.

Cloud should break for most with sunny spells developing and some better weather. Cloud over eastern coasts with a risk of cloud here.
Showers my developing in southern Ireland, some of them heavy. Thicker cloud and rain affecting southeast England in the afternoon.
Windy in southern parts of the UK and feeling cold in the wind.
Winds NE 25-30kt (F6-F7) in the south, decreasing to the north as NE 20-25kt (F5-F6).
