I am a newbie subscriber but not yet had my December PBO, has anyone else had theirs yet?

I always get Sailing Today in advance of it going on the shelves.

I got mine on Thursday although my first one last month was late so you should get it at the beginning of the week.

Have you received a letter saying it's starting this month?

My experience is quite the opposite - when I subscribed to YM it usually turned up a couple of days before it went on sale in Smiths, ST on the other hand is often a few days later.

I have not renewed this year
i bought my first PBO for months on Saturday.

I was having ground hog day feelings with it but wil keep trying.

main probalem wa multiple subscriptiions as presents. i do oit for my dad and me every year and he keeps getting two copies rather than both getting one each. to be fair i normally do this last thing at LBS so am a bit tired and emotional.

Come on brain.get this over and i can go back to killing you with beer

I agree with Johnoo, PBO is getting boring, where is everyone getting the money from to buy these new boats!, again we are going up more canals, lets see some more rennovation projects and more down to earth boating advice we do not all have 40' plus boats and have other people to clean them, or is it the trendy thing to do to have someone else clean the boat? I noticed 6 boats in our marina are not cleaned by the owner.

Happy sailing

Tynesman.

Below stepladders

Good grief, clean our own boats? I keep a perfectly good family down below for that! You'll be asking me to drive myself to the office next! The gardner has some notion of taking it easy during the winter... Who'll pick up the last half dozen leaves, eh? Trying to cause unemployment? They'll all be on the doll and buying motor boats next. Now where are my slippers - how long do I have to hold me feet in the air?!
