Sailing in Southampton

I have just started a degree in Southampton, and i am looking to continue my interest in sailing, I know it’s getting to the end of the season for most sane people but i am looking for sailing opportunities. Even this year!
On a long term basis, I am people who are looking or could use a crew on both a regular and casual basis, (not people who are looking to charge more than basic shared expenses)
I would ideally like to be involved in a racing circuit.

If you are interested in using a competent crew member, or know of someone please get in touch. I am a keen sailor and I am interested in gaining any further sailing, be it big/small boat, racing or cruising

Try the JOG (Junior Offshore Group) - http://www.jog.org.uk/main.htm. Some years back I put my name on their crew list and had quite a few opportunities for last-minute crewing, both round the cans and longer distance. They have plenty of members in the Solent area.
