Hi all,

Currently based in Edinburgh and was wondering if anyone was looking for crew, and willing to help mentor on my run up to taking what may be anything up to Yachtmaster Coastal for all I know.

I say this because the bizzare thing is- I have 3 years sailing experience, but strictly in a racing environment where no one had time nor patience to teach much of anything, and whilst gleaning plenty, feel my knowledge is somewhat "swiss cheese" and full of holes.

If someone is looking for crew and able to impart their wisdom, then I'd love to hear from them.

Many thanks.

On top of everything else you're trying, find a better boat to race on. If they have any pretentions to improve they should be developing their crew.

If they do any offshore racing or visit regattas elsewhere, volunteer to help with some of the delivieries. It's a good way to learn from senior crew without the pressure of the race.
