Hi, I wasn't sure where else to post this . . . I'm looking to charter a small, simple sailing dayboat in the UK May 14-15. I'm an experienced sailor, and just want to do some inland or light coastal sailing. Can't seem to find much outside of the broads (which I did last year and want a change). Any leads or ideas would be great. Thanks.

I'm not sure that I have the answers you are looking for but follow my signature link to my site. From there follow the Total Sailing link. They may help.

It is a crying shame that it is very hard now to charter anything shorter than 35ft. Previous years when I was boatless I looked long and hard for inexpensive charter on a boat my kids could have fun on and handle without being intimidated by the size and shinyness. Several years we hired a 27ft Hunter from a good and friendly sea school outfit in Milford Haven. Miles of sheltered cruising up that way. Google will turn them up.
