sailing clubs on windermere

Hi looking for some pointers with regards to sailing clubs on windermere we have a 28ft fin keel and are new to sailing as you know can anyone recomend any of the clubs on the lake both for the practical and social side cheers

I'm not really involved with clubs but as far as I know these are the choices.

http://www.royal-windermere.co.uk/ mainly dinghy and keel boat racing, but have started cruiser races on Saturdays. Seem keen to get new blood. Grand premises in Bowness Bay

http://www.lakedistrictboatclub.co.uk/ More aimed at cruiser sailors with smaller premises in Bowness Bay

http://www.wca-windermere.com/ very much aimed at racing and ad hoc social events, no premises.

http://www.swsailing.org/ at Fell Foot at the south end of the lake. I think they are entirely dinghy-based. Club house etc.

We are froth blowers so don't know much about yachting but our marina holds regular regattas too. it is Windermere Marina Village
