Sailing buddy needed

I've recently purchased my first yacht, a lovely Sadler 32. We will be based at Fambridge (hoping to move over May bank holiday weekend) but I am in need of regular sailing buddies, as my partner is not as keen as I had hoped on the prospect of sailing together. Will be mostly sailing weekends with potential for longer trips as experience/confidence grows. Would ideally like somebody more experienced than myself for company and to keep a watchful eye over me.

Anybody interested or know someone that may be, please PM me.

Hi Tomahawk, I'm hoping to arrive over the May bank holiday and will be in the marina, in front of the marina office apparently!

The Cruising Association also do skipper seeking crew/crew seeking skipper, which I think is open to non members. Might be worth a look. BTW welcome to Fambridge, Pioneer is on berth F28 and I should be around from Sunday the 2nd, subject to getting replacement Smartgauge monitor and fitting it in time. Come a say hello if you have time.

I might be able to fit in the odd day/weekend , can't commit to every w/e but certainly up one or days here & there ..

Me too. One may think that I already have too many boats to deal with, but one I can't use much for fun as there is usually a literally sleeping partner, and the other one is currently broken!

You should come to the Fitted Up supper seeing as it's local...
