No, but as an option, sealskinz waterproof socks and sailing shoes.

I know a lot of people going down this route. And to be honest I probably would, except that Musto keep replacing my boots with new ones when they leak, so I don't currently have a reason to!

I too suffer from an "intermittent" loss of mobility in one ankle which sometimes means I arrive on the boat with my left leg very comfy in my boot and the right trouser leg and bar foot soaked and frozen.

I've seen leather wellies with a gusset and zip, but with cleated soles not deck soles. I'd love to find some myself.

Rob.

P.S. I have been known to drive home in my wellies 'cause I can't get them off!

Have a word with a cobbler about the cost of taking the soles off a cheap pair of deck shoes/trainers and fixing to some suitable boots from a motorcyclists shop, or horse chandlery

I did just that. I have a pair of WW2 Spitfire Pilot's flying boots, suede, fleece lined with a side zipper. I had them resoled with ribbed trainer soles.
Beautiful. Very Warm on cold sailing days.

Cotton Traders advertise something like that but I would not have the greatest confidence in their water resistance.
