How much has the anode wasted from new ? if it's not lost much weight and has a few bits that have eaten away just buff it up with a bit of sand paper / emery and leave it. as long as it's not loose and free to rotate it should be okay for another season.
I normally make a habit of weighting my anodes. but do bare in mind if the anode has started to erode the surface area will be greater so in theory will erode at a quicker rate the next season.
I assume you are talking about the prop anode. If it's a Yanmar bear in mind you probably also have a pencil anode at the top of the drive inside the boat, opposite the Kingston cock. In my experience these degrade more slowly, but need checking.
Generally reckon to replace at 50% weight loss. Rough edges etc are normal in my experience. Clean the old anode with brush/vinegar.
I always have a new one to hand in case waste has suddenly accelerated - it can hapen. Hunting round will get discounts: check out with Keypart of Kings Langley - they deliver post free at the moment. (no personal connection)
I find that the anode on my Volvo 120S saildrive lasts several years. The three-part ring anode on my folding propeller, however, barely lasts a season.
You'd expect the anode on the leg to last a reasonable time, unless there was some problem causing excessive wastage but you'd expect the anode fixed directly to a copper alloy prop to disappear fairly quickly.
