saildrive anode on etap26

how can i find out what saildrive is on my etap26 1983 and what anode do i use ---is it just an allen key to remove the propeller

The saildrive (if it is original) is a 110 model with a one piece collar anode. Standard Volvo fitment. Allen key to undo locking bolt, then undo cone. Prop should slide off but may need a bit of persuasion if it has not been off for some time. Anode also held on by socket screws. When re-assembling use loctite on the prop locking bolt or better still use a new bolt.

thanks thats great but what is a socket screw and if the allen key wont budge it is there an alternative

Socket screw needs an allen key (as opposed to a hex head that needs a spanner). The locking bolt will need a lot of shifting.
