Sailboat Maintenance Flowchart

Sail boat maintenance

You must have deleted the essence of this post however.
I don't think maintenance lends itself to a flow chart or am I just allergic to flow charts.
Maintenance on a sail boat comes in various categories.
Annual maintenance like antifoul the bottom, replace anodes, oil or varnish the woodwork. Service winches.
Then there is inspection. Through hull fittings are important. Rigging and spar inspection is important. Batteries and wiring need regular cleaning and maintenance also.

Then there is the problems that show up when sailing. Worn blocks sheets and halyards loose fitting s etc. Some can be put off till winter some need fixing straight away.

You will want to clean up the inside vacuum and clean off mold. Possibly wash soft furnishings and clean out cupboards.
Then you might want to polish the topsides and scrub the deck.
The engine of course needs maintenance both cleaning up and oil and filter changes depending on engine type.
So best idea is to make lists. Then work your way through. Of course you will have priorities. It is all part of the fun of boat ownership. good luck olewill

I imagine it was another re-posting of the "does it move and shouldn't -> bodge tape / should it move and doesn't -> WD40" chart or something like it, that was mildly funny once upon a time.
