Sail wantedLanzarote late March Early April

I'm in Lanzarote , Puerto Carmen in late March to early April. Anyone going for a sail that would like one or two crew pm me. Not keen to join one of the charters running out of Puerto Calera. Keep my own boat Solent based so not 100% incompetent. Can contribute to awful docking and poor sail setting. No sergeant major types. Michael

If you go out to Puerto Calero ( 5 euro taxi from old town ) go into upper deck bar / cafe , the run a small regatta each Friday afternoon and you can put your name down as crew .

Ask Lava Chandelery (Arrecife) if you can put a small notice in their window (I think I saw some there). The Marina office might also help. Self-service launderettes near marinas are also good spots for posting notices.

Cheers for that. Been in Arrecife a few times on foot, and never ventured into the marina which is unusual as I love looking at boats. Will give it a try. Would love to get a sail out of Rubicon. there are some massive beasts moored in there and it is in beautiful location. Calero is a nice marina too. Th place where we are staying in Puerto del Carmen overlooks the old harbour and i generally have a good view of anything sailing past and have to say not been a lot of activity in the past few years mind you I normally go late Feb early March. Fantastic ice-cream place in Arrecife mouth watering just thinking about it.
