Hello all,
My wife loves sailing, and, in fact, she does most of the work! She hoists the mainsail, grinds the winches when short tacking, leaps around the foredeck, helms the boat and ties us up. That said, she does feel like she doesn't understand as much as she should about the mechanics of it all, the theory, the terms, the forces involved etc. She wouldn't feel confident taking the boat out, for instance, without me, and she should. She is wading through Cunliffs Yachtmasters book at the moment, however, she would like some video training stuff too. We have three kiddies (ages 0, 3 and 5), plus the ships hound, so going to any formal, classroom training isn't an option (not that I've ever had any of that sort of training!).
What training videos can people suggest?
