thanks in advance can any of you fourumites recomend a good sail loft in the north west i am looking to have the sacraficial / uv strip on my genoa replaced and any idea of likely cost. the boat is a 22' pandora luff is aproximatly 23' i am not in any rush as i will only put her back into the sea during june i know this is a late start but present predicament dictates.

Steve Goacher, Goacher Sails Bowness.
I'm just having a sailcoat made by for my main, which he made. Very helpful guy and top sailor, [as in world champion 4 times (Flying Fifteens) and national champ 10 times (Sonatas)].
He re-cut a genoa for me taking a triangular piece out of the luff and putting a new luff tape on. About £70 I seem to remember on a 18ft masthead boat.

I had the same job done for me by Lambs sailmakers in Liverpool. Peter took the name when the old Lambs closed down on the dock road. They are now in a loft in the road opposite the marina entrance( very near the Cains brewery tap). I recall I was charged about£80-90 for the sail on a masthead Jag 25.
