Sail Cleaning.

'am considering trying to remove a detergent proof stain on mainsail with oxalic acid solution as I've had amazing results on hull.

Anybody tried this and still got a sail in one piece?

If the holes in my overalls and sailcloth bits bag are anything to go by, I would,nt try it, or if you do, can i have whats left of your sail to make another bits bag!

Works very well. Add a little fairy liquid. Rinse many times. Remember to do it in a stainless steel sink otherwise you might ruin your bath.
