Hi folks
As some of you know I have been having great fun working on a 47ft gaff ketch called Black rose.
I have been hanging around the Solent for the last couple of months and took part in RTI, thought I saw Cutter heading up the Medina the evening before the race.
Watched the fleet review and took part in ISOF (Where we rafted up in No. two basin with a nice view of B&Q as well the sterns of gypsy moth IV, Robertsons golly and Lively lady /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif as well as having the luck to meet stephensails /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
So is anybody heading over for Sail Amsterdam? it should be good as a number of the tall ships from IFOS are coming over.

If you are going to moor in the six haven take a shoe horn - was there from last thusday to saturday - completely blocked in all round. beer 1euro a bottle in the bar only compensation.

I hope to be there but will leave the boat elsewhere and come in by train.
davidfox is absolutely right about Sixhaven and on top of everything else there is the major building work going on immediately outside for the new metro line. Wonder if they have finished the pile-driving yet?
A friend who made enquiries was told he would have to be there and booked in 10 days in advance!
