The title of this thread led me to imagine something like a six-point racing harness to hold one in place on the seat!

Reminds me of the hand holds often referred to as ankle straps in old cars.

And wipe the floor as well! Most skippers insist on sitting to pee for both sexes these days - at least when under way.

A strap to hold the lid up can save a painful experience.

I have also attached two inverted L brackets to the bottom of the lower seat to stop any seat unit movement.

What I've found with Lavacs in really heavy weather is that when you've got yourself seated you can do two or or three quick pumps and you're effectively 'glued down' on the throne by suction.

Very effective.
