Safe to fill water tanks?

Have not had any freshwater on the boat over the winter, as recommended I drained system down to protect from frost.

Is is now safe to start using the system again - I want to clean the boat this weekend and hot water would be nice - would you recommend still draining off when we leave?. If so when will it be OK to leave water in tank

Yes shouldn't be a problem, my boat's been in the water all winter, no heating at all, all fine.

Depends where you are, presumably not Alaska

I left a max-min thermometer in my engine bay all winter last year on the south coast, never went below zero. Boat was afloat so that might have helped.
